After 17 years of experience as a teacher in Barcelona, Willem Koper founded his own language specialist agency Back Up Line S.C.P. in July 1995. “I realised that after so many years of working for others, and a full-time job split up over 4 employers, I needed a break. I came to the conclusion that the best work is the work done by others for you. In this line of thinking, I thought of all the Back Up that companies needed and created the spirit of Total Life Long Back Up. Everybody I now recruit needs to adopt this spirit. We are nothing without satisfied partners who rely on us daily.“

From a small company with only a pioneer course of telephone classes, through the years Back Up Line S.C.P. developed itself into a real language service agency. The team spirit led to provide also other services, translations, interpretation and language support in the neighbourhood School.

Today Backuplines S.L. is our renewed company, and it is still on top. We have created a new arm of our company focused primarily on distance learning and support services for other educational organisations, while maintaining Back Up Line S.C.P. as our brick and mortar school located in Poble Nou, Barcelona.
